Scribble Assembly

In Scribble Assembly Imagine That presents work from many artists represented by our program for our annual doodle exhibition. This show, titled last year by our artist Lucy, aims to show the silly and fun aesthetics of our individual artist’s processes. In addition to the exhibition, visitors will be offered space to create their own doodles and swap one-for-one with a selection of drawings from Imagine That artists. This activity builds an exciting platform of exchange both for our visitors and the individuals we support. We are also pleased to offer complimentary beverages from Boulevard and snacks provided by the Local Pig.

Imagine That is excited to include artists Celina Curry & Andy Ozier who will be participating in our doodle festival by making live drawings in the gallery.

Celina Curry is an illustrator and painter living in KC. She has a BFA and a $2 bill collection. Curry was also chosen as one of two grant recipients for beautifying the new Downtown streetcar stops with her work.

Andy Ozier is an illustrator living and working in KC with a BFA in Illustration from the Kansas City Art Institute. His work was chosen for the Missouri Bank Artboards in 2014.

Imagine That! Is a program offered by Resources for Human Development a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We aim to provide individuals with the supports and tools to define themselves as artists, help them achieve recognition for their vision, and to develop a sense of confidence and self-worth through the art making process. Our artists have shown work regionally, nationally, and internationally.
